Thursday Doors – November 14, 2019

Thursday Doors is a weekly feature allowing door lovers to come together to admire and share their favorite door photos from around the world. Feel free to join in on the fun by creating your own Thursday Doors post each week and then sharing your link in the comments below, anytime between Thursday morning and Saturday noon (North American eastern time).

Door Soup

Door soup is what you get when you have no official theme or subject the week and toss a whole bunch of unrelated doors into the same pot.

This batch includes a bunch of previously unused door pics that I found interesting enough to capture but still haven’t been able to find a home for in any of my usual posts.

Plus there’s 6″ of snow on the ground that I’m not ready to deal with. I mean it’s barely mid-November for crying out loud (!), so I’m scouring the archives because a new doorscursion just ain’t gonna happen this week.

Subway doors in the Montréal Métro

A set of pretty carriage house doors from the estate of former Prime Minister Mackenzie King, in Gatineau Québec.

A non-exit to a shop at Upper Canada Village.

A few more from Kingston, Ontario.

Inside the Hochelaga Inn

Kingston City Hall

“Authorized personnel only” – Université de Montréal Science Centre.

Trendy health-food/organic grocery store in north end Ahuntsic neighbourhood, Montréal

A mix of battered, weathered, and worn beauties from various parts of the city.

That first step though…

And let’s finish off with one that has two of my favourite door categories covered: a corner door that’s also a ghost door.

I hope it’s warmer with less snow wherever you happen to be right now.

Don’t forget to add your links in the comments section below to share your own doors post this week.

As always thanks for looking 🙂

Scrumptious soup! I love the leafy littered door and the door to nowhere best 🙂
