One Liner Wednesday – Free Piano

Here’s my contribution for this week’s One-Liner Wednesday by Linda G. Hill:

As seen on a town square bulletin board in Lebanon, New Hampshire:

Free piano – small upright – just around the corner – come and get it, bring help.

Fabulous Norm I still giggling, puts me in mind o Laurel and Hardy, the made a black and white film of moving a piano in what looked like San Francisco ….. You can imagine the consequences. 😊 x

  5. It doesn’t say what condition it’s in. Might not be worth the trip or the pulled back muscles. 🙂

  6. We had a lovely refurbished upright when we lived in Cleveland that we didn’t have room for in our rental house here in Illinois. I was going to have to pay someone $200 to take it away (and get rid of it, I imagine), but finally found someone with a child who took lessons but didn’t have a piano. It turned into a win-win, as I didn’t charge the parents for the piano and they pay the piano movers’ fee to take it to their house instead of wherever it would have gone. I was so happy. And it took three very large men and a moving “thingie” to move that monster.
