DP Weekly Photo Challenge – Early Bird

In response to The Daily Post’s weekly photo challenge: “Early Bird.”

If you love outdoor/nature photography one of the first things you learn is that sometimes you have to get up very early in order to get those dramatic shots created by Golden Hour light.

This is a shot of a fellow early bird I snapped a few years ago, tearing down after shooting a sunrise at Imperial Point on the Grand Canyon’s north rim.

Early BirdThanks for looking 🙂

Yeah, I think we were up at 4:30. It was a 1/2 hour drive to that location and then time to set-up etc…
Dedication or crazy, I’m not sure but it’s lot’s of fun 🙂
