And we continue exploring in Montreal’s Plateau Mont-Royal neighbourhood.

Note: These shots were captured about a month ago. The leaves have all fallen now.

Do I see toys?

Yes! One of my favourite things about these green laneways: residents have made them a safe place for kids to play.

But we’re here for the doors, right?

Hard to believe that these next 2 come from opposite ends of the same laneway.

And these were all found somewhere in-between.

    That rainbow fence is fantastic!     Another little library!! I also like the fence that looks like Tom Sawyer started painting it in colors and then had to run off to go fishing with Huck. 🙂 I also know now why my parents (living in Arizona) would exclaim about how many trees there were when they’d visit us in Ohio. 🙂

    How marvelous! My favorite I think is the first picture. It just looks so inviting to walk into that fairytale scene. I’ve been seeing the Thursday doors on other blogs for a while but never stopped by here before. Thanks for sharing! Janet

    I love the toys, and the selection of rather utilitarian doors looking like back entrances to warehouses, the kind of things you might find on an industrial estate.

    Love the play areas and the little library. 🙂 There is a house not far from here where they painted their fence in multiple colors similar to the one here.

    I really like the fact that they’ve made it a safe place to play. We have a small group of kids who play at the end of our street. It’s so nice to see them out there having fun.

    I love the rainbow fence and the little free library. It looks like the library needs a little free grounds crew, but still good to see.
