Street Art Doors in Rosemont/Petite-Patrie, Montréal (Part #2)

Continuing to stay safe and avoid crowds while still getting outside, here are some more strreet art doors found on a recent exploration of Montréal’s Ruelles Vertes/Green Laneways.

I almost missed this garage door partially hidden behind a children’s playhouse and a raised bed garden.

You’ll notice that a number of  these are on small commercial buildings that have rear access delivery entrances that open up onto the laneways.

Again, there are some truly talented people out there.

To share your own Thursday Doors post just paste your link in the comments section below so that others can visit and have a look at your discoveries. Remember: you have until noon eastern North American time on Saturday to add your link.

As always, if you have the time, please take a few minutes to visit some of the Thursday Door posts shared by our other contributors.

Thank you for looking 🙂

Your cheetah reminded me of one of my kiddos who would always forget his stuffed cheetah at daycare and his dad would call me frantic, hoping we weren’t yet in bed, to come after it. Seems he couldn’t sleep without it at home lol Hoping to reopen late Aug for just a few kiddos. Fingers crossed!!

What a phenomenal set of doors and murals. In some of the photos I didn’t even actually see the doors and thought you had branched off into murals. You must travel constantly to find all of your unique doors.

But, that’s fortunately not the subject of my posting for today. Just something sime and small townish:

I know that children’s playhouse! It moved with us until we retired it once our kids outgrew it. I am enjoying your colorful alleyway strolls and as I said before, we have nothing like this where I live. Very pretty.

Scroll down on the Irony one and you’ll see both pieces in perspective. https://theartblogger54.wordpress.com/2020/02/20/street-art-by-irony-13/ https://theartblogger54.wordpress.com/2020/07/23/street-art-by-trust-icon-4/

Thanks Jean. Some just don’t have the wall space for nice murals but the ones that do are a treasure to find. If the weather hold up I have a few more on my list to explore this weekend *fingers crossed*

These are wonderful, Norm. Not only can I not pick a favorite, I don’t think I can narrow it down to two or three. There are some very talented people around that neighborhood. I can only imaging what it feels like to walk through there. It certainly must be orders of magnitude better than walking through a dreary alley.

My batch of doors for this week is over here – https://nofacilities.com/2020/07/23/more-suffield-doors-thursdaydoors/

You’re right Dan it is so much more interesting than walking through a dreary back alley. I really applaud the city for starting and continuing to expand this program and I do hope it catches on elsewhere 🙂

Norm, I think that this is my favourite post ever. It has everything that I could ever wish for and will keep me going for a week. You have set the bar very high with this one. I love them all, but the Bee piece really stands out for its clever incorporation of the door.

My rather less interesting offering: https://scooj.org/2020/07/23/thursday-doors-23-july-2020/
