Snow peas? We have them in our garden as well. Over here they are called sugar peas, Zuckererbsen (we are based in Germany). We had boat loads of them this year! 🙂

Not sure if those are the same thing but I’d probably enjoy them as well 😉

Now it intrigued me and I asked Google. The finding is: snow peas are the same as our “Zuckererbsen” (sugar peas). We have several names for it in German and they all mean the same plant. We really like this vegetable and luckily had a big crop a few weeks ago. 🙂

Interesting name of this legume… Does this mean they have be sown in the snow? 😀

😉 No, but apparently they prefer cool weather and the will survive a light snow fall. I may try a second planting in late summer to test this for myself.

Mmmm, yum! Snow peas are long gone around here. We’re deep into tomatoes and summer squash. Also mmmmm.

Yeah you guys a probably a good 3-4 weeks ahead of us. Except for the cherry type, tomatoes haven’t started to ripen yet here.
