Thursday Doors is a weekly feature allowing door lovers to come together to admire and share their favorite door photos from around the world. Loyola Campus Concordia University, N.D.G. – Montréal (Part 2)

This week I thought we’d continue our walk around some of the main buildings on campus.

Love the reflection in the window

The spots that look like empty panes of glass are not, I checked. They are just newer glass that isn’t as faded or reflective as the older ones.

You know you’re on an old campus when you see a building like this.

Squeezing this one into a Thursday Doors post might be a bit of a reach 😉

Some modern service doors – but they have doors within doors!!!

I decided to throw this one in from a home right across the street – just too pretty not to.

    Old brick and beautiful reflections in the first one and another where the carvings in stone are so interesting, Norm. The wooden burnished doors are gorgeous. The fire escape is actually set of stairs and your hand included created a reaching to the sky effect.🌞
    Hope your break away and time was happy while relaxing too. I think I just have these two weeks to respond to. . . Smiles, Robin

    I love the architecture. Of course, I always love columns… and those had such an intriguing design. The house across the street looks straight out of a movie! 🙂

    I love the door with the surrounding columns! And I was especially happy to see your “reach” door… it gives your loyal fans – and door posters – a bit more latitude 😀

    Beautiful building with beautiful doors. I like how you checked the glass panes, just to be sure. I think maybe the newer glass makes it even prettier, since they’re keeping them up. Seems more real somehow.
    I LOVE the shot looking up at the fire escape — that’s a fantastic pic! 🙂

    These grand old buildings rarely disappoint with a grand entrance way to complement the effect. I like the doors with the honeycomb windows at the beginning. The wood looks a bit battered but the windows are striking.
    … and yes, doors within a door are always a winner 🙂

    What. Great collection, Norm. I love the reflections in the window and in the transom of the lower door. Also like the doors within doors. The house across the stree is very pretty, I can see why you included it

    I really like the photo looking up the fire escape. We were just talking about fire escapes st my place. I love the hand reaching up.

    Pretty doors, Norm! But I have to say my favorite photo is the far-reaching fire escape. I think that one is art show quality. Love the composition and the addition of your hand.
