These are all from a visit to Ottawa at the beginning of February. Our visit coincided with the start of their annual Winterlude Festival.
I’ve mentioned before how we Canadians love to make excuses (that we call winter festivals) in order to get out, stay active, and have fun despite our long cold winters and after the Carnaval in Quebec City, Winterlude in Ottawa is one of the biggest and best known.
So what does this have to do with Texture?
Well, one of the fun events is their international ice sculpture competition that draws participants from every corner of the globe.
