Bank Street Beauties in the Snow – Ottawa

On a snowy day in Ottawa last weekend we took a stroll along trendy Bank Street with its colourful facades and funky shops and restaurants.

It was cold, the snow was blowing at times, and we had somewhere to be, so here is a small and somewhat hurried selection of the colourful doors we found:

Not sure if it was the colour of the door, the name of the shop, or the street art that attracted me most, but I had to get them all into one shot 🙂

We may have to go back when the weather is warmer to explore the area a little better. Some of the century-old homes we saw on the side streets left me with the impression that a serious doorscursion in this neighbourhood could be fruitful.

And here are a few shiny bonus doors we found in a old landmark hotel not far from there.
