    Thanks for the reminder Norm, that the sun still came up this morning in spite of the feeling that very dark days are ahead. I too am gobsmacked about yesterday’s results and more than a little frightened about what’s ahead.

      Thanks Joanne. It’s still sinking in and though I don’t want to seem smug, I’ve never felt prouder to be Canadian than when we kicked our bigots out to the curb last year.
      Time will tell how this all plays out but hopefully now that he has the job he has enough sense to tone down the hateful rhetoric. They don’t need more fuel on the fire; there are already a lot of small minded people feeling very emboldened at the moment 😦

        … and you’re right. All the bullies have been validated by this election and I’m not fooled by his conciliatory tone since winning. He’s a bully at the core and that will always be his go-to behaviour.
