Share Your World 2016 – Week 45

Here are my answers to Cee’s Share Your World questions for week 45.

Describe your own outlook on life in seven words or less.

Keep it simple, life is complicated enough.

Where do you like to vacation?

Anywhere that I can get to spend quality R & R time with my Honey is fine by me.

However if I have to choose I am kinda partial to Nova Scotia.

My Mom is from there originally plus my best friend since the age of 4 moved out there in the late 1980’s so I have plenty of reasons to go when I can.

Plus it has some of the most beautiful shorelines and overall spectacular scenery in the entire country:

Candy factories (sweets or treats including chocolate) of the entire world have become one and will now be making only one kind of candy. Which kind, if you were calling the shots?

Sorry to be a party pooper but I’m not a big candy fan so it really wouldn’t matter to me. Just don’t mess with my dark chocolate though  😉

Complete this sentence: Something that anyone can do that will guarantee my smile is…

Smile, relax, and don’t take themselves too seriously.

Again, life is too short and there are enough stressed out people in the world already.

Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?

We got all our back yard leaves raked up – 21 bags worth (!), and most of the winter prep work for the house is done.

We’re looking forward to a fancy date night later this week. We’ve got tickets to L’Opéra de Montréal’s production of Don Giovanni, and we’ll probably go somewhere downtown for a nice supper before the show.

I’ll have an excuse to wear a jacket and tie and Honey will get all gussied up too. We’re fortunate to be able to do things like that once in a while, and it is always lots of fun to act all grown-up like  😀

Many thanks to Cee for running this challenge. If you haven’t played along yet, you might want to give it a try – it’s a lot of fun.

  2. Love the green house and the red Adirondack chairs. Odd. I used to camp in the Adirondacks, but I don’t remember seeing those chairs.

Thank you. I’m familiar with the story and the music but this will be the first time I see it live. The Magic Flute is my favourite Mozart opera.

For those of us who like dark chocolate really don’t eat a lot of other candy … it is too sweet. 😀 Your photos are stunning.

Not taking oneself too seriously is very good advice, Norm. If I ever fall short of that, I think I’ll take myself to Nova Scotia. Nice job and beautiful pictures.
