I’m out

A while back my blog buddy Linda published her book All Good Stories. It was a fun read that I highly recommend. You’ll find the details on how to buy your own copy in her post here, and at the same time you’ll be helping out and encouraging a talented and passionate writer.

I’m out. Of money, that is. It’s official. I went to the grocery store today to pick up some essentials and I got the dreaded “Insufficient Funds” screen on the debit machine. Though it’s killing me to do so, I’d like to ask a favour.

If you haven’t already, please buy my book. If you have, or if you have a friend who might like it, please direct them to it. Reblog, share on social media, have a parade down the main street of your town or city, whatever it is you normally do to get attention. If I can get to $100 in royalties, Amazon will pay me next month – they hold smaller amounts.

If you know me, you know I never ask for anything. I hate asking for anything. Please, just share this post. And if you have 99¢ and want to read a really funny book…

Well, that’s a pretty painless way to help a person out. Thanks for the heads up, Norm. I now have a new book loaded on my Kobo for those 4am reading sessions.

I would love to help her but I am also out of Money. Treating Lyme disease is about to take the every last of my savings. I am contemplating starting a crowd fund to help pay for the rest of my treatment.

  4. Bought it, Norm. 99 cents is nothing, but hopefully it will add up.

This was such a good friend, Norm. Your sharing this made me feel I know you better. Unfortunately, my grown children who have made homes for my grandchildren to live in. . . have many different projects and their needs are close to home. It is sad since many times I repeat under my breath, Charity begins at home. . . I wish I could help!
