This was so fascinating, Norm. I like the serene feeling of photographs taken at dusk!

Between the still water and the muted colors, the scene is so peaceful, the same feeling I get when sitting on the cabin porch in Wyoming. What a great feeling!

So peaceful – are those houseboats?

Not houseboats, boathouses – floating sheds (anchored to shore) used to store smaller boats.

Boathouse sounds so much more elegant than ‘floating shed’ 😉

Beautiful.
Tragically, it’s a sleepy Wednesday morning and that photo makes me yearn for a cup of herbal tea and a lounger.

I know what you mean. We stood there for a half hour just watching the light fade; I could do with some more of that peaceful quiet right about now. It has been a hectic week so far.

Here too. I hope you have a nice relaxing weekend, and that things slow down for you 🙂

My brother used to rent a small cabin of some sort in Magog. Sadly, I never had the opportunity to visit. I understand it is a beautiful place! Heading to Montreal next week for a few days, looking so forward to it!

The Eastern Townships is one of our favourite regions of Quebec.
Cool on the visit! Hopefully the temps will ease off just a bit before you get here, it has been oppressively hot and humid the last while.
Remind me again where you’re coming in from Lynn?

I live in a smaller town just east of Toronto Norm. The heat has been relentless this summer, that’s for sure!
