Ottawa Tulip Festival – Take 2

Last week I posted about our time at the annual Ottawa Tulip Festival.

Here is the promised follow-up with the rest of the best of my pics from that visit:

These were all taken at Commissioners Park near Dow’s Lake.

For those interested in attending next year, the 65th edition of the Ottawa Tulip Festival will begin on May 12th, 2017.

Thanks for looking 🙂

Norm I’m not sure if I like the real tulips or the art pieces better. This is not something I have ever considered attending. I’ve just jotted down next year’s date. Thank you!

I couldn’t resist passing this along. Lovely flowers, especially the ones created by men and women.

… but still, I’m sure no photo could capture the splendor of SO MANY tulips!! You’ve inspired me to want to be there next year to witness it for myself.

    LOVE the tulip statues 🙂

I’m sure you won’t regret going, and next year should be extra special what with Canada’s 150th celebrations going on all year.

Ooooh – I had forgotten about Canada’s birthday celebrations next year! You’re right – a trip to Ottawa in 2017 will truly be epic. It might already be too late to book a hotel room – glad I have family in the vicinity 😉
