We’ve had a lot of grey and gloomy days so far this winter – not great light for outdoor photography, so only the third image in this series is recent. The rest are shots I dug out of my archives that I felt really fit the bill:

Flatiron Building – Toronto
Though it does make for an eclectic mix, the vibrant nature of each of these shots leaves me feeling like summer could be just around the corner.

Love your choices, Norm, especially the Tuscan ware and the Montreal street art. Heaven forbid we should only be able to post photos taken that day or week! I’d never be able to participate. 🙂

I know but for some reason I always feel kinda like I’m cheating when I pull shots out of my archives that are more than a few months old 😉

Great photos Norm. The ceramic tap/fountain is a stand-out … and of course, I love the flatiron building!

I had to practically pry Honey away from that ceramics shop. “Yeah, but how are we gonna get it home in once piece?” was my go-to phrase that day 🙂

I love the flat iron building. So many cities have that structure, but this is sharp looking.

It is a funky look, though I’m not sure how practical the floor plan is for the tenants 🙂

Oh yes, I can see how these colours brighten up the most gloomiest of days, Norm. The street art is wonderful. The guys that do this work have some great talent.

I was never fond of it before, but I don’t remember seeing such beautiful artwork in the past. I’m really learning to appreciate the artistry now.
