Tuesdays of Texture – Week 40, 2015

Here’s my contribution for this week’s  Tuesdays of Texture over at de monte y mar.

While on vacation a few weeks ago we spent some time in Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia on the shores of the Bay of Fundy.

Across the street from the Inn we stayed at was the town’s oldest cemetery, surrounded by a wonderful centuries-old wrought-iron fence with a stone turnstile. I got some great shots of the fence in the morning light and a few others of the lichen and weathered textures on the turnstile.

Here are a few of my favourites:

Great texture indeed, Norm. My dear wife Karen and I visited Nova Scotia twice, in September and then October, on a cruise that departed Boston, and it was our favorite port to visit both trips.
