I like listening (quite a “rush”), smelling and looking at waterfalls, Norm. I sometimes remember I am filling up with negative ions that sire feel positive!

Very nice. I can almost hear the water!

Thanks. The restaurant has a terrace that opens onto the water, so you actually can hear the water while dining – a special place 🙂

I’ve never seen a water fall, big or small, I wasn’t enamored with and this is no exception. Great photo. 🙂

Thanks. I’m the same way. I could shoot waterfalls all day long without getting bored.

I love these waterfalls because I really like waterfalls, but also because they make me stop and think about the mechanics of those water-powered mills.

This was an old flour mill. They had old steel wheels and gears all over the property as props/decorations, but I would have loved to see this place when it was still in production mode. It really fascinates me how inventive we humans can be sometimes.

My wife bought me a series of Popular Mechanics reprints from the early 1900s. So many stories were written by the people who kept these mills in operation. It was fascinating to read about their craft.
