Share Your World 2015 – Week 8

Here are my answers to Cee’s weekly prompt: Share Your World – Week 8

Your favorite blog post that you have written? (add link)

For a writing post my favorite is this one: If We Were Having Coffee – Post-Holiday – Dammit We Miss You Edition

From my photography posts I enjoyed this Weekly Photo Challenge – Yellow a lot. It was the first time I went out with the camera with the intention of getting shots for a specific photo challenge. I was quite suprised and satisfied with the results.

What do you feel is the most enjoyable way to spend $500? Why?

We certainly don’t do it often because we have other priorities in our budget, but an evening out with my Honey, say a nice dinner and a show, is by far the most enjoyable way I can think of to spend $500.

If you could know the answer to any question, besides “What is the meaning of life?”, what would it be?

Well since I already know why the sky is blue and why men have nipples even though we don’t need or have any use for them :-P, I’d probably want to know if pets actually dream, and if so, then what do they dream about.

Where do you eat breakfast?

Weekdays I usually eat breakfast at the office. We have a long commute and try to leave early to beat the traffic. I’ll often have toast or oatmeal, some yogurt, and a piece of fruit with a cup of coffee at my desk while catching up on emails and gradually easing into my workday.

On weekends whenever we’re not in a hurry, I like to take my time to make a big breakfast at home; either french toast, pancakes, omelettes, waffles, my house specialty fluffy scrambled eggs served on toast, usually with some fresh fruit, coffee and juice.

Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?

Last week I was grateful that we were able to finally go skating. That was a first since my heart surgery a few years ago; another one of those, they said I’d never be able to do that again milestones.

We haven’t gone cross country skiing yet, but the milder weather is coming and we have plenty of snow, so it should be happening soon.

For the coming week I’m looking forward to handing in and getting some feedback on the first part of a creative writing piece I’m working on for school.

We also have our night at the Ice-Hotel coming up and that should be a lot of fun.

As always I thank you for reading 🙂

Good question about pets dreaming. My pugs appear to be dreaming (or running) a lot in their sleep. Thanks for playing.

I saw on the news just yesterday that science suggests pets do dream and they dream about similar subjects as we do… I have no idea of the validity of that statement, though.
