Here’s my entry for this week’s Tuesdays of Texture
Snow can take on different textures depending on a variety of factors such as temperature, humidity, and how compacted it is.
Though I’m not quite sure what causes it to develop this texture, ever since I was little we always called this Mashed Potato Snow:
Thanks for looking 🙂
Perfect name for it! 🙂

I love the name of mashed potato snow – but I never would want to see any yellow (butter) on this version – ha!

That could almost be a dish of mashed potato with some black pepper sprinkled on top, Norm. Just need some sausages and baked beans to go with it now 🙂 Pass the ketchup would you?

You might find it a little too cold Hugh 😉

I wish I had mashed potatoes or a snow cone… just being silly, of course. At the library and need to head home for supper soon!

That makes me strangely hungry… and reminds me of my current snowy climes. However, I will be grateful for not being on the east coast right now.

There’s plenty for everyone, if you’d like to pull out a spoon or fork and help yourself. I would avoid the little pebbles if I were you 🙂
