Here are my entries for the DP Weekly Photo Challenge – Yellow
It’s winter here. The temperature this morning was a balmy minus 18 Celsius (0 Fahrenheit) so at first the idea of going out exploring in the cold to find examples of Yellow was not too appealing.
But is was bright and sunny out and the forcast was calling for warmer temperatures. So rather than diving into my archives to pull out a few existing images on this theme, I decided to dress warm and do a walking tour of a nearby village to see what new images I could capture.
I found so much Yellow! So as an added bonus, I’ll be using some of today’s shots for my other regularly scheduled theme posts over the rest of this week.

So much to like (except the freezing temps of course!) My favorite WAS the lone kayak in the snow, until I came upon your reflection in the frosty yellow orb – terrific!! Congrats on your very profitable reward for braving the cold, and happy holidays to you!
